Westman Atelier has some nice sets for the holidays and today I’m checking out their Petal Edition Set ($134). This set includes 3 full size items in the shade of Petal with their Baby Cheeks Blush Stick, the Lit Up Highlight Stick and the Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm. These can now be found at Nordstrom, Sephora, and Violet Gray.
If you’re into the minimalist, glowing makeup look, you’ll love this petal set. I already own her Baby Cheeks in Petal but I use them so often that I didn’t mind getting another one in this set. Both the lip balm and the highlight stick are currently exclusive to this set.
That Baby Cheeks Blush in Petal is a soft pink cream. It has a creamy finish with a slight dry-down yet remains fresh and dewy. This doesn’t last the longest on my normal/combination skin but I still find it has decent staying power for a cream blush. These come in their magnetized twist-up stick format.
That Illuminated rod in the petal is a really pretty cool pink. The pigment is extremely transparent with this one, giving a glossy sheen wherever you apply it. It’s a versatile product that you can apply to your cheeks, lips, and eyes. I’m not really a fan of the glossy balm look on the face, but it adds a nice, fairly fresh, dewy glow. I know many of you are big fans of all things fresh. I think this is a nice addition to their lineup.
That Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Petal is really pretty. In general, this formula is extremely transparent (with the exception of the darker bolder shades) and the balms only offer a faint hint of color. The formula has a nice smooth texture and they feel like a balm on the lips. I wear these over a lipstick most of the time, but find that they wear well on their own too. I really love these but wish they had more pigment. The colors are so good I would have liked an option that more closely matched what you see in the tube.
Overall I think the set is beautiful. It’s easy to wear in any season. I also love the fresh pink pops!

Since it’s been a while since I’ve done a Westman Atelier roundup, I’ve included swatches of all the Baby Cheeks, Highlighters, and Squeaky Clean Lip Balms I have. If you’ve been asking for patterns of everything side by side, these are for you!
Mimi is currently exclusive to the Westman Atelier website. Popsicle is exclusive to the Nordstrom Duo (also reviewed here).
Total love. She’s also released a few other sets now, including the Squeaky Clean Cheeky Duo (mini cheek + full size balm) in a couple of colors. More are expected to be launched soon.
