A high slit. Navel-free cut. Cheek-hugging hem.
Donatella Versace has kept Gianni Versace’s legacy of daring merchandise strong since his untimely death, and the label has only gotten bolder and chicer as time has gone by. But where Gianni pushed the envelope, Donatella gilded it with glittering stones and boisterous prints — more eye candy than swathes of bare skin. Take the head-to-toe body-con suit, for example, which is printed with rococo swirls drawn from Versace DNA. There’s hardly a hint of skin showing – yet the look is as sexy as it gets.
Equally sexy: extremely intricate nails inspired by the Versace catwalks. Guest artist Caroline Cotten designed her nail art based on a pant suit revision of the iconic Versace green dress worn by Jennifer Lopez in 2001. Cotten’s nail art version of the statement dress is complete with real palm leaves.
