Deep
Vieve Deep Modern Bronzer Duo ($43.00 for 0.64 oz.) is the most intense duo in the brand’s powder tan line. Both shades were very pigmented, with a little going quite far, while the left shade blended easily, the right shade required a little more effort to get an even, diffuse application of the product.

low (left)
low (left) is a rich, medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. It was intensely pigmented where a little went a long way. The texture was fairly soft and blendable, although it was drier than I expected based on the brand’s description of the formula. I did find that the powder could look clumpy when applied over medium coverage foundation, which I just don’t find often with cheek powders. It lasted eight hours before it faded a bit.

formula overview
–
The formula is said to offer a “foolproof” formula with a “finely ground, soft satin finish.” The brand said a “little goes a long way” and the pigmentation was more intense than marketed. The textures were soft, smooth, and a bit drier (not quite powdery, but not silky to the touch).
The bronzers applied fairly evenly to bare skin, blended out without too much effort, and seemed to sit better on my skin than the blush range (which this is supposed to be modeled after!). I think they can look a little powdery when applied over a matte foundation and they aren’t the most seamless to apply on my skin – something about the bronzer powder looked a little heavy once applied and blended.
Most shades lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

low (right)
low (right) is deep brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. The texture felt fairly smooth, with a bit of dryness but minimal powderiness so not a lot of excess product kicked up, making it easier to use with a lighter hand (if desired). It had an opaque pigmentation in a single coat that applied evenly and spread better than expected, but may have required a bit more effort to really diffuse. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.
