Revlon ColorStay Suede Ink Lipstick ($12.39 for ounces) is a newly released formula meant to be worn for eight hours with no color transfer that has a “vivid” color and a “naked lip feel.” I’ll have full reviews, and while there’s a slim (nearly zero) chance of having clearer thoughts than my first impressions and first two shades I’ve worn, but…
Unless you like incredibly stiff, firm, tugging formulas that cling to your lips, I would avoid this at all costs. The lipstick ball itself is painful to use and seemed prone to surface drying, which only made it more difficult to use each time. I had to swatch it on the back of my hand to get the product working before attempting to apply it to my lips just to make it usable. Once applied, they have a smoother feel, although overall (so far) they seemed to dry only slightly.
Long lasting… but at what cost to the lips?!
