Quinta Brunson has come a long way from creating sketches on YouTube. Now the social media sensation makes us laugh from our TV screens as primary school teacher Janine in her very own series. Abbott Elementary School. In between filming the TV show, she’s dressed up for various awards shows and events – and looks absolutely stunning, may we add. Her last appearance was at the annual LACMA Art + Film Gala on November 5, where she looked like a real princess with a slicked-back blunt ponytail.
The Emmy-winner arrived at the gala in a strapless, floor-length baby blue dress with a black belt around the waist and fishnet gloves covering her forearms. Hairstylist Alexander Armand parted her dark brown hair on the side and smoothed it into a high ponytail at the crown of her head. He wrapped part of her hair around the base of the ponytail to hide the hair tie that held it in place. The ends of her super blunt straight ponytail brushed her shoulders.
He used part of her hair in the front to create a faux bang that curled around her ear. Her makeup was certainly made for a princess and went well with her hair and dress. Makeup artist Renée Loiz painted on light pink shimmery eyeshadow with a sharp cat eye. She coated her lips with a nude gloss for a slight shine.
