To understand the differences, let’s first remember how similar these lamps are. All nail curing lamps emit light energy that reacts with light-sensitive molecules in the product (“photoinitiators”) that start the curing reaction. This reaction hardens the nail by connecting the gel molecules into long chains and networks (“polymerization”). So far, so good. But what are the differences between the two?
