Get the Look: CND x The Blonds at NYFW – Nail Design

Jan Arnoldco-founder of CNDhandpicked Julia Kandalec (@julieknailsnyc) and Lavette Cephus (@beaute_asylum) to lead the nail team The Blonds Spring/Summer 2023 runway show at New York Fashion Week. Kandalec, Cephus and the team pushed the nails to the limit, conceiving and executing some gorgeous looks that screamed luxury.

The blonds are known for creating over-the-top collections with a rebellious edge. What makes CND x The Blonds’ years-long partnership so unique is that The Blonds was one of the first shows to start incorporating nail art into their looks, putting runway nails on the map.

The Blonds’ latest collection pays homage to their first summer together – full of escapism, glamor and nightlife in New York City – and all about excessive style. The collection features the signature over-the-top looks with gold hardware and crystals dripping from both clothing and nails.

Dipped, wrapped and framed in chain

   • Frame the nail with one long chain strand and another shorter strand in the middle of the nail for Framed in Chain
