Recent Purchases/Rediscoveries: two Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipsticks, Revlon Suede Lipsticks (hoping to test these soon), Essence Pure Nude Blushes (hoping to test these too soon!).
weekend plans: So far the plan is to take some photos/patterns today (Friday) and then do some larger writing/typing dupes on Saturday. Lunar New Year is Sunday so we’re going to have dinner with my parents to celebrate!
Sad news: we lost two more girls from the cleft puppies! Lorax is still here and he is dare I say it thriving as he hit the 3 week mark. His sister Yeps, who recently joined him, and his other sister Maizey both crossed the rainbow bridge to join his brother Max last Monday. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly what went wrong, but the ambulance assured me and the other nurse that we had done nothing and could not have prevented anything. Both girls had trouble passing out and breathing very heavily (and it didn’t really seem like hypoglycemia either) and even after giving them time to recover they both got progressively worse, so the nicer thing was that done as you had already done an antibiotic treatment so there was nothing left to do.
We are only two left – Lorax, the one under my care, and Cindy, under the care of the other keeper who was actually the runt of the entire litter!! Lorax is actually the smallest now, but he’s hitting his developmental milestones and steadily gaining weight. He’s gotten louder and more active since his eyes and ears opened, and he’s insatiably hungry. Both the other caretaker and I try to give them as much love and care as possible every day we have them and very much hope that they will prove to be survivors. Cindy has known breathing problems (she is breathing loudly and has also stopped breathing on several occasions) and Lorax has shown no breathing problems (Max probably died from something causing internal bleeding as that was a major symptom for him which was not like the two girls who passed).
It was heartbreaking but I’m confident we can make these remaining two thrive!
Have you set short-term goals? The short-term goal is to find a way to arrange my schedule so that I can work on my other site (the gaming site), Temptalia, and volunteer with the puppy rescue locally, as I definitely miss going there to go . I prefer to go in the morning but need to be at my desk in the morning for the game site (Temptalia is more flexible).
Psst… since it’s Friday and we’re heading into the weekend, if you have some free time you should play one of the games my husband and I have developed! 🙂 You can find all our games on Awordybut here’s a breakdown of what we have so far:
- To adopt (guess the name of an adoptable pet in six installments)
- Ending (Find out the topic within six clues)
- Misspelled (guess one letter at a time to figure out the sentence/quote)
- delusional (find as many words from the available letters before the shark eats them)
