The formula is said to have “highly pigmented, buildable color” that imparts a “natural, sun-kissed shine” that ranges from “putty to powder” with a “semi-matte finish.” The shades had buildable opacity ranging from semi-transparent to medium to full opacity, although they were quite opaque when first applied – they were easy to blend to the point where they were better built in layers. However, I would recommend letting each coat dry before adding another one for more opacity.
The texture was light, emollient and like a gel cream – spreadable without being too thick or too thin. I liked dabbing it onto my skin with my fingertips, but a synthetic brush worked too. Luckily I had no trouble lifting base products. The formula became more velvety as it dried, leaving a more semi-matte finish after around 15-20 seconds.
Most shades lasted about eight to eight and a half hours on me before showing any signs of fading on me.
