More Halloween! This time I made a super easy manicure inspired by a cake I saw at Magnolia Bakery. This was a super easy cake with rosettes and huge eyes! I loved it! I took a picture but I may have deleted it because I couldn’t find it. But then I saw that it’s on their site if you want it (lol!).
So I didn’t have an option to do rosettes so I decided to do some texture polish. I pulled out an oldie texture polish and just drybrushed it over the nail and over some eyes. I might have dabbed it to look more like a furry monster, but hey, it is what it is. I just want to share fun festive art!
The colors were super easy!
- Orange Base: Jessica Cosmetics Sahara Sun, 2 coats
- Orange texture: Julie G Tangerine Dream
- White: KB Shimmer White Here White Now
- Black: Girly bits, he definitely is
Then I matted the look. I usually then top coat and then wait with a matte top coat. But I wanted the eyes to smudge to make them look scarier, so I immediately applied a matte top coat.
I was thinking about bloodshot the eyes and adding red lines but I don’t know, it was kinda gross and I like mysterious or cute Halloween and not bloody and disgusting Halloween. Kind of reminds me of Ah Real Monsters Monsters lol!
So there you have it. super easy! However, it is also kind of creepy!
