Stockholm, Sweden, early 2020. The world is about to go into lockdown, but a few months earlier an idea took shape: three elements that would help nail technicians and enthusiasts find creativity even in the toughest of times, combined with a focus on self-care : a nail planner, a design book and a deck of cards.

Celina Rydén and her nail planner book
These three products are the brainchild of Celina Rydenworld-renowned nail artist, educator and founder of the nail brand lunar flair. When the idea came to her, she immediately started designing the layout with the help of her mother. The goal of this collection is to remove that feeling of pressure when a client wants you to come up with something creative and to encourage you to make time for yourself.
“The two most common issues my community asks me about are how to find inspiration and how to deal with the stress of working as a nail technician,” says Rydén. “Having been in the nail industry for over 17 years these are two issues I have often faced. If you’ve ever been asked “whatever you want” by a client and gave you that wide-eyed, expectant look, you know how stressful it can be to innovate and create on the fly.”
1. My Nail Planner – Finding the balance between work and self-care
A nail planner that not only helps you with your business but also encourages you to take care of yourself.

The nail planner helps you stay organized and reminds you to take care of yourself.
“I wanted to create a planner that would encourage you to be a boss, but at the same time be kind to yourself,” says Rydén. “Not only do I share my best business tips, I also share advice on how to break up with clients, tips for morning rituals, quick yoga/stretch poses to do at work, the importance of taking breaks, to have lunch and plan yourself. care time.”
2. My nail designs
A book to unleash your creativity and collect all your nail designs in one place including nail art tips and tricks.

Use your nail cards to find design inspiration, then design them in the My Nail Designs book.
“In this design book, I’ll start by sharing my best tips and tricks, how to find inspiration, talk about tools, how to charge for nail art, and other sites that will help you spark your creativity and find your personal style. The rest of the book is filled with shapes of nails and lines to fill in the date, client’s name, products used, inspiration, etc. Use it alone to prepare kits for your clients to choose from, or use with your client to continue the job.”
3. Nail Cards
The ultimate tool to break down creativity blocks and boost your own creative thought process.

The Nail Cards offer endless design possibilities.
“The deck of cards is divided into five sections: 20 color cards, 20 word cards, 20 element cards, four shape cards, and three accent cards. Together they help you create something unique for each nail set! This deck was designed and hand-drawn by me and includes my signature style inspired by bohemian elements. With this deck, you’ll be challenged to try new exciting ways to spark your creativity, and the combinations are endless.”

If your customers don’t know what design they want, let them choose random cards for something unique!
In addition to these products, Nail Planner also gives you a website link and password to access exclusive material including morning yoga videos, morning ritual videos, breathing exercises (all starring Celina, a former professional dancer and gymnastics coach) and other fun ones Bonuses to help you be more in tune with yourself.

“I have a passion for helping people succeed,” adds Rydén. “I think that’s a very important purpose in life for me. But being able to do this together with my mother has made this something very special that is very close to my heart. The whole project just vibrates with good energy!”
