1. Re: Buy blinds for your house
We finally gave in and went to a shop that specializes in blinds because all the options and colors were just too overwhelming for us.
Someone stopped by yesterday to measure us and walk us through the process and the biggest takeaway I took away was that continuity is key when buying blinds.
For example, when all the blinds or blinds are down and you look at your house from the outside, it’s really nice to see that all the window treatments match.
If you don’t want that and say you have a two story house, you can adjust all the blinds on the first floor and then have a different type of adjustment treatment on the top floor.
My point is that ideally you want to have some sort of continuity in your window treatments! who knew
2. Ilia Rococco lipstick is beautiful, but…
I got them a while ago but haven’t worn them for a long time. It’s a gorgeous warm rose-pink lipstick that’s loaded with pigment, but make sure it blends onto your teeth. That’s why I’m smiling with closed lips in the picture above, LOL!

3. You can wear a bodysuit without a clasp
Holy shit, this was one of those oddly surprising game changers for me. I love having the longer length of a bodysuit because I don’t like tucked-in shirts riding up, but sometimes I just can’t handle snapping and unzipping the crotch portion. I recently read that if you’re not in the mood to snap, you can just skip it and wear the bodysuit loose. I’ve been doing that lately and it’s been lovely.
Here’s the thing though: you need to make sure the hem of your bodysuit doesn’t slip out. It’s easier to keep track of the front, but the back can be tricky. I get around this by wearing high rise pants and/or a long blazer.
Have you had any revelations (beauty or otherwise) lately?
